Successful women support other women. A woman has influence on her own; as a group, we have influence. Because there were so few jobs at the top, we were traditionally encouraged to be competitive with one another. It is so obvious that this tactic fails.

The reality is that the only real way we can alter the situation—and have a lot more fun doing it—is by lifting each other up and utilizing the power of teamwork. You understand that the table is improved by your strengths. The notion that women don't help other women needs to be disproved. According to study, teamwork is preferable to competition for women in particular. Study after study demonstrates that commercial success is higher for women who support other women.
