Dalhia Perryman


Dalhia Perryman is a humanitarian, international facilitator, speaker, spoken word artist, activist, advocate, artist and trainer. She utilizes public, street and community art, training, facilitation, and arts in education as tools for transformation, healing and rebuilding of communities. Her research and behind the scenes volunteer work is used to assist ‘boots on the ground’ workers in communities in crisis locally and globally. She deals with issues of genocide, genital mutilation, human rights abuses, mass violence, social justice, women’s global health, and safety.


Her work impacted 5 continents, approx. 30,000 students, law enforcement, mental health professionals, and survivors and families of 3 mass school shootings which occurred at Marjory Stoneman Douglas (Fl), Aztec High (NM) and Sandy Hook Elementary (CT). She aided in multiple natural disasters (Hurricane Katrina, the Earthquake in Haiti, Midwestern Floods), and multiple global humanitarian traumas including, Ukraine, Afghanistan, Tanzania and Central African Republic (CAR). She is currently Ms. Black Florida USA, is a member of both American Mensa High IQ Society, and the International High IQ Society. She was a TED discussion Host, had art on CBS Sunday Morning and did a year of national service with AmeriCorps.


She is a Susan G Komen Advocacy Ambassador, and Speaker, and a Catalyst to the Capital Fellow and Ambassador. She has also spoken for organizations such as the American Red Cross and AARP. She participated in a global Guinness World Record attempt and a digital exhibition at the Louvre through arts organization SEE ME. She was tapped to create arts experiences for an NGO, local governments, museums, community nonprofits, corporations, hotels, libraries and educational facilities.


She is a grantee of the National Endowment for the Arts, The Department of State for the State of Florida Division of Arts and Culture, ARTIST FELLOWSHIP INC. NYC and the Puffin Foundation. She has had trainings through the Kennedy Center, Creative Capital and the United States Holocaust Museum and Memorial, and is poised to become the Inaugural Poet Laureate of the City of West Palm Beach, FL in January 2023.
